We love sharing information about our team and why they love what they do. This also gives you a chance to get to know us and our incredible team at All Health Training!

Introducing Jo! Jo is one of our expert pathology trainers. Jo joined the All Health Training family, 7 years ago in April of 2015! How time flies ✨

Jo's roll is to deliver quality training and assessment within our pathology department, which she does so passionately.

We asked Jo to answer some questions for us, so you can get to know her better!

What made you want to get into this type of role?

I started off in aged care and was a qualified enrolled nurse. I then completed my pathology certificate as a side skill but enjoyed it so much more! After 24 years of experience in the industry, at that point... l wanted to give back, share my passion, knowledge and experience with others.

What do you love most about your role?

I love being a part of each students journey. Sharing my knowledge and experience, to watching them develop skills and knowledge that they can use in their role as a Pathology collector. it bring me joy!

What do you personally get out of assisting students achieve their study & career goals?

I feel privileged to be a part of their learning. I may only be a part of it for 22 weeks but l hope that l have laid a solid foundation that grows once they enter the industry.

And knowing that l have had an impact that has encouraged them to continue and share my passion.

What is one thing you would tell a student looking to undertake a career in pathology?

If you want a career, not just a job.. then the pathology sector is for you! Go for it!

What is your favourite saying or quote?

"We only take out not put in."

What do you love doing in your spare time (outside of work) and why?

In my spare time, I belong to an adult competition dance group! 💃

And last but not least, we asked our management team to share their thoughts on  - here's what they had to say:

Jo is a total professional and a pleasure to have on our team.
She cares about the students journey and is passionate about teaching our pathology students.

It feels like Jo has always been part of our AHT team – congratulations on celebrating 7 years with us!

Happy 7 year anniversary Jo & here's to many more!
