What is the Certificate III in Health Services Assistance?

This qualification gives you the factual, technical, and procedural knowledge needed to assist health professionals in caring for patients. It covers both direct patient contact (under supervision) and non‑clinical support work such as:

 

  • Clinical cleaning

  • Food preparation and distribution

  • Patient transport

  • Assisting with movement

  • Inventory & waste handling

  • Handling medical gas cylinders

  • Response to MET (Medical Emergency Team) calls


 

Who is This Course For?

The HLT33115 course is ideal if you:

 

  • Want a role in a hospital or healthcare facility without being a nurse but still having meaningful impact
