The 22558VIC Course in Supporting People with Disability to Use Medications course has been specifically developed to address skills development associated with the introduction of the NDIS. As well as the Victorian State Government’s response to the 2016 Inquiry into Abuse in Disability Services and the Victorian Royal Commission into Family Violence addressing recommendation 1 and 207.
The 22558VIC Course in Supporting People with Disability to Use Medications course reflects the skills and knowledge required to equip the existing disability support workforce with strategies to ensure that people with a disability take and use medication in accordance with the documented medication chart/treatment sheet developed by their medical practitioner.

This is an open entry program of study with participants needing to read, write and communicate in English to a level to perform the job.
Format/Structure: the workshop is conducted in 3 phases
f you are an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen, these courses are FREE $0, funded by the Victorian Government under the Skills First Program.
